About this
painting
Simply one of my favorite birds.
Before the creation of “Spring Chickadees”,
I originally planned on creating a composition
around pussy willows but the combination of dead leaves and
new buds grabbed my attention first.
But, it’s spring again and old ideas always make their way to the
canvas
eventually. I also
received a lot of requests
for a smaller painting of a chickadee which
seems to be the favorite bird for a lot of people.
